AUTHOR NOTES:
The first part of this story evolved some time ago, following a list discussion regarding the notion that Blair could not have possibly recovered as quickly from his drowning in Sentinel Too as it appeared he did in canon. The second part was written as a challenge on that same list to give Blair a taste of Jim's senses. Since then, thanks to the input of several wonderful people, it developed to the point, that it bears little resemblance to my first rough drafts.
My heartfelt thanks go to - Suisan and Wolf, who first planted the seed in the aforementioned discussion, Kato Tomato and Wolf, who betaed various parts of both stories in their initial stages, to Patt, who encouraged, cajoled and convinced me that this was a worthwhile project and to my daughter, Amz, who shares my passion for writing and puts up with me constantly running plot bunnies past her.
I want especially to thank Beth, for her patience and humor during the editing phase of the story, and the fact that we are still on speaking terms, even when the Australianisms threatened to send her crazy is testament to her lovely, generous nature.
